FINALS are closing in quickly with two more rounds of hockey.
On Friday night Warriors defeated Robins in the women’s A grade then Allblacks defeated Olympics in the men’s A grade.
On Saturday some great junior hockey games were played, with players showing good skills.
In the afternoon the seniors matches were competitive. In the men’s A grade Riffs defeated Pingelly four goals to nil and Rangers defeated Warriors four goals to two. In the women’s A grade Wagin had a close win over Mighty Ducks two goals to one. In the men’s B grade Pingelly defeated Olympics six goals to two and Riffs defeated Wagin in a close game three goals to two.
In the women’s B grade Pingelly defeated Mighty Ducks five goals to one and Wickepin defeated Williams in a close encounter by one goal.
On Saturday, August 30 the under 12 competition wind up will commence at 12pm. All teams are urged to attend to see who wins the association awards.
