Big trip for students

7/08/2008 4:04:00 PM
THERE was excitement in the air as 21 Year 8, 9 and 10 students from Wagin District High School prepared for a trip to Canberra.

Nervous parents waved their children off at the school as they boarded a bus to Perth, where they then hopped on a plane and flew out to the nation’s capital.

Accompanied by deputy principal Anne McAllister and teacher Shaun Vanderberg, the students were going to spend the week visiting the war memorial, Parliament house and the national gallery.
